Founded in 1989, The Catalog Outlet began by selling closeouts from retail stores such as Montgomery Ward, JCPenney, and Sears for very discounted prices. If you could find what you were looking for in their catalogs, we could get it for you at an “outlet” price with great customer service and thus The Catalog Outlet was born. From there our first store opened in the historic creamery building on the corner of Martin Brook and Railroad St. in the wonderful village of Unadilla, NY and we began to sell everything from catalog closeouts, tools, furniture, and more. Eventually our business would grow, and we would open twolarger locations. In 1997 we opened our second store at the corner of Chestnut St. and Shaffer Ave in the bustling West End of Oneonta, NY. Shortly after that in the year 2000, we opened our third location on Highway 12 in between the scenic towns of North Norwich and Sherburne, NY. With our three stores established we made the transition to primarily selling furniture, mattresses, and home dècor and have been providing the communities we serve with high quality home furnishing products and five-star customer service ever since!
