Price Match Policy

The item must be the identical item including brand name, size, color and model number.

The Catalog Outlet must be able to verify the competitor’s price on our equipment. We will not accept screenshots or print outs. The Catalog Outlet must be able to add the item to an online shopping cart to see the final price. If we are unable to verify the price, we may decline the request.

The item being matched must be for like services. For example, an item from an out of state retailer must include shipping.

Sales Tax is not included in price match.

The Catalog Outlet will not match clearance, close out, liquidation, damaged, used, auction or refurbished items. We cannot match other retailer’s pricing errors, loyalty card programs, credit card offers, gift card offers, financing offers, sales tax promotions, free items, rebates or mail in offers.


What is your return policy?

We offer returns on any merchandise as follows: All returns must be made within 3 days of delivery/pickup; be in original condition and accompanied by a sales receipt. A 15% re-stocking fee will apply to all returns (25% on special order returns). With the exception of special-order returns, the re-stocking fee will be waived if other merchandise is selected at the time of return. Clearance and merchandise sold AS-IS are non-returnable. Refunds paid by company check.

Are all of your products shown on the website?

Our website not only shows all of the products available to view at The Catalog Outlet’s store locations, but we also show hundreds of additional products that are available to youby special order. Products in store are marked on our site with an ‘On Display’ tag, and other products are marked by an ‘Available to Order’ tag. Any of these items can be ordered online or in store, however you will only be able to physically touch and feel ‘On Display’ items at our stores. What is the warranty on your products?

All of our products have a limited manufacturer warranty, unless specifically noted in the product description or tag on the item (in store). We also offer an additional extended warranty plan which includes accidental damage along with structural and material issues for a period of time after the manufacturer’s warranty expires.If you purchased the extended warranty plan, any claims can be filed directly with the plan company with information you will receive. If you have any questions pertaining to warranties or the extended warranty plan, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Will my product be assembled?

The Catalog Outlet can assemble your product before delivery or pickup, if the product will not be too large when assembled. Bunk beds and some ready to assemble pieces do require a setup fee to assemble on delivery, assembly of all other items is included in the delivery cost.Pricing on assembly for pickup or delivery of the aforementioned items varies based on product selected and the quantity of your order, for an accurate pricing quote please contact us.

Is there a charge for delivery?

There is a nominal charge for delivery.If you are checking out online our website will automatically calculate your delivery charge if you are within 30 miles of one of our store locations. Unlike online retailers that deliver via UPS or Fedex, our delivery service is rendered by two of our professional delivery personnel and we take care to unwrap and place items in your home wherever you’d like, our delivery team will also remove any cardboard or wrap from your new furniture. Assembly is included except where noted on products such as bunk beds or ready to assemble pieces. For these pieces’ assembly can be added for a small extra fee on top of our delivery fee. Our delivery cost ranges from $89-$129 based on distance from the store nearest you, if you don’t wish to checkout online or are further than 30 miles from one of our stores, but are still interested in delivery please contact us for a quote.

Is there a charge for in store pickup?

In-store pickups are provided for free and our staff are always available to help, but if you would like to pick up your purchase at a certain location it could take a few days for the product(s) to be transferred to another of our store locations. Assembly is not included with our pickup service and most items do not fit into customer vehicles when assembled. Ready to assemble pieces can be assembled prior to pickup for a small fee. Why the stores are named ‘Catalog Outlet?’

The Catalog Outlet started out in 1989 selling closeouts from retail giants like Montgomery Ward, JCPenney, and Sears for insanely low prices. If you could find it in their catalogs, we could sell it to you at an “outlet” price and The Catalog Outlet was born. We quickly made the transition to selling furniture in the 1990’s and in the modern day The Catalog Outlet sells top brands of new and stylish furniture from company’s like Ashely, Klaussner, Coaster, United, Lane, Liberty, Crown Mark, Restonic, and more! Of course, it’s important to stick true to our roots and that’s why whenever you browse our website you can order nearly anything from these popular catalogs; all at an outlet price. And if websites aren’t your thing, we invite you to come down to one of our store locations where we can show you good old fashion paper catalogs!

How long has The Catalog Outlet been in business?

The Catalog Outlet has been family owned and operated since 1989 with our original location in Unadilla, NY. Later expansions include our Oneonta, NY and North Norwich, NY locations. We hope to continue to serve and grow within these amazing communities for years to come!
